Campbell is a lock and so is Todd Collins. Watching Colt Brennan from his two preseason games he just hasn't been playing on the same level as he was last years pre season. While Chase Daniels is showing great accuracy, Nice speed and good decision making. Unless Daniels bombs the next two games and Colt Have tremendous games , I think he was basically no longer a Redskin.

Somehow I disagree. Though Chase scored the only TDs in the Steeler's game, don't forget there is a reason why Chase never saw the field during the Raven's game. Zorn obviously believed that Colt could handle it and that Chase couldn't. Colt also looked good up to the INT. He showed a lot of poise and confidence and, sorry to say, even the INT looked like a QB with a killer instinct. I'm not really sure what game Zorn is playing, but something does seem afoot.

Colt looked great against the Steelers up until the INT. Hey, at least he was the one that made the stop on the run back though!!! Anybody else catch that? Daniel is playing the same way Colt did last year...the only difference is in how Zorn is reacting to it. Last year when Colt was throwing his passes and TD's and scrambling around Zorn said that Colt was "playing undisciplined". Daniel on the other hand is making great plays??? What ever...if Colt does get let go which I doubt, he'll end up in a place where he really would get a chance to see some playing time I'm sure.

Colt is a Redskin. He was working the starters' schemes and led the team just fine.
I hope they keep Chase for development if Coach changes his mind about 4 QB's.

I think Daniels is just coming off his college year and hasn't had the rust set in, unlike Colt who basically didn't play for an entire year. I'd like to see Colt play more, get back into real game situations. Todd Collins did give a vote of confidence to Colt: "As for the quarterback currently trailing him on the Redskins depth chart, Collins believes that Colt Brennan will develop into a good player in the NFL. “He always seems to have the knack for big plays, and he’s kind of a play-maker sort of [quarterback],” Collins says. “When he’s playing, he plays with confidence.”" Entire article is here: www.redskins.com/gen/articles/Collins_Keeps_On_Ticking_47999.jsp

Looks like Daniel has a big time Redskin backer because of Daniel's height. When Chris Meidt was a teenage football star, his idol was Doug Flutie. Posters of the Boston College star covered Meidt's walls. And when people asked how he could possibly be a successful quarterback at 5-foot-10, Meidt would point to Flutie's example. voices.washingtonpost.com/dcsportsbog/2009/08/why_the_redskins_were_open_to.html

I'm watching the Patriots game right now, unless I missed Colts big drive if he had one he hasn't played too good. He moved around in the pocket alot and allowed himself to be sacked taking the team out of field goal range. In the end the team will not keep him because they need the best 53 men on that team that gives them the best chance at winning, and a 4th quarterback doesn't do that. However, I think Colt will find some luck if he is signed by another team.

I remember how it felt the first time I drove a car with an automatic transmission with someone sitting next to me telling me what to do. It took some time to convert all the things you had to think about (how to operate the car, where to drive on the road, when to stop, when to go, how to park, etc.) into the feel of driving.
I remember how I had to re-learn driving when I went from an automatic transmission freeway and avenue environment to a standard shift panel van Hawaiian rural environment.
I remember what it felt like driving a Porsche 911 for the first time and how it took an adjustment to get used to managing the "heaviness" of the car in stillness to the neck-snapping accelerating, light-touch smoothness of the car in 3rd gear at 80 MPH.
It's all driving and eventually it becomes familiar and automatic... WITH REPS.
Colt stepped into the Porsche this week. He may not have won a race but he learned how to DRIVE. :-) HTTR!

LoL Like they say its a business, they can show you love today, cut you tomorrow. However, I think Colt is going to find luck where ever he goes when given the shot to excel.

I cannot see Colt being cut. It would be just dumb mistake. Daniels is playing like Colt did last preseason. Colt has progressed and is better overall this year. He is a tad slow in his throws. But his throw to Mitchell was perfect. A throw that Campbell could not make. Come on Redskin fans make up your mind . You either want the runaway gunslinger of last preseason. Or the one that is trying to be mechanically sound. Dont jump the bandwagon. You will be sorry.

I cannot disagree more. For starters; although Chase is having a nice camp...we don't need a 5'3 quarterback. ( I realize he is taller but not much.) Chase played in a primarily shotgun offense in Missouri where it will be a "project" for Zorn to work on basic qb skill like release points, footwork, speed of the game, reading defense, and timing for the West Coast style offense. In the media Colt has been named a "project" for this system so why would Zorn take a step back, and start all over with another/bigger (actually shorter) "project?" Colt has taken great strides in working on all of these avenues of the pro-game...esp his release point. Zorn would be foolish to cut Colt and keep Chase because it would be more on his plate...in addition to the fact that Chase is not a better qb. For every Drew Brees and Doug Flutie's out there; there are a hundred Timmy Chang's and Eric Crouch's who were not typical qb size that did not work out. Don't get it twisted...by next year Colt will be the stand alone number two and if Campbell does not excite this year...possibly making a push for number one.

Colt has to go to another team to find success, he will not find it in Washington under Zorn. I have been disappointed in Zorn since he arrived in DC. I see the talent in Colt and for that matter Jason and I blame coach Zorn who threw a zillion interceptions when he played for their not being successful. So please send Colt to another team so he can have a great pro career
