Seeing Colt on the TV is always cool, but nothing beats watching him in person! My family and I had the thrill of watching the Warriors play UNLV at Sam Boyd stadium, which was sold out by the way. You could definetly tell the Hawaii fans from the UNLV fans. Only 1/3 of the stadium was wearing UNLV red, the rest was in Hawaii Green or Black.
It was really a thrill seeing them in person. They totally dismantled UNLV. They couldn't do nothing against Hawaii! I was cheering and yelling throughout the whole game. The only time I didn't make noise was half time. And from the way Colt was playing, you really couldn't tell he had a bum ankle. It wasn't until we read the paper the next morning that we found out he had a bum ankle.

I definitely agree with you about watching a game in person. Instant chicken skin when the team does the "Haka". You can feel so much energy and mana, and then after that you could sit back (I should say jump up and down) and enjoy a 400 + yard air show ;D

Oh yeah, I totally got goosebumps seeing them do the Haka!! They did one pregame, I just caught the tail end of that one. After the game, all the Hawai'i fans were chanting "Haka, Haka!", the sight of them doing it, just totally made me shiver with excitement. The only regret I have about that game was I didn't bring a camera.....stupid me.....I could've taken a pic with Colt and a few of the guys.... I was also unaware of the fact that my niece knows Colt. If I knew that, she probably could've hooked me up with better seats...

She went to UH with him, according to my sister, the two of them had a few classes together. She didn't know herself till Colt dropped her off at the house after school, even walked up to the door with her. It wasn't until 5 minutes after he left, that it dawned on my sister who that was....
All I can say is, I hope she plans to keep in touch with him!!
