Can anyone tell me why Colt is listed as inactive? Is he hurt? It seems to me he should be #2...

He is listed as inactive because he is the emergency 3rd QB.
There are certain rules for having 3 QB's on a team. If he goes into the game as the emergency 3rd, the starter and the immediate backup won't be able to return to the game unless he goes in after the 4th quarter starts.
Don't worry, I'm sure he'll get a promotion ;D
He's being groomed in the traditional fashion as a rookie QB, rather than being thrown to the wolves right away. Trust me, he'll look even better next preseason than he did this past one, and we all know he already played really well.
Once he becomes a starter, he'll be one for a very long time.

Not looking like Colt will be starting anytime soon. Zorn sounded like he wants to stick with Campbell. Big debate going on that Zorn will be admitting he failed in being able to make Campbell the franchise QB he was originally hired on for.

I'm finding it harder and harder to believe that Zorn is willing to admit failing at anything.

If Jason stays the #1 QB, look for another season of excuses from the Redskins and Campbell lovers.

My input - It's time for Colt to get the opportunity to compete for the starting position. He stood on the sideline(which, I am sure was not easy for him) for one season and I would hope he is 100% healthy. The bottom line in the NFL is it is a business and you must win. Coach Zorn will not keep his job if he does not win. As long as I have followed Colt, he has always been a winner(off and on the field) Campbell does not understand the offensive scheme, and does not have the courage it takes(in the NFL) to throw a pass into the seam that others such as Farve,Marino, and Elway have been able to do. I cannot compare or even include Collins in the same conversation with Colt. My message to the Redskins.....PLAY HIM, OR TRADE HIM. I am sure others in the NFL(that know something about Football) would give Colt the opportunity. Best Regards - CREDO 10
